Lance, a Japanese-American was born, raised and educated in the US, but has spent much of his professional life living and working in Fortune Global 500 companies throughout Asia.

He is currently the founder and Managing Director of Asia Executive Resource Ltd (AER), ( a Lance Tanaka Group company), a consulting company that provides executive coaching for the “best of the best”, working with the leading multinational and local companies in their respective industries throughout Asia-Pacific.
Since AER’s inception in 2001, Lance has accumulated over 17,000 coaching hours of executives from China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Japan, Korea, Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, US and Europe. He has coached

From 1997 to 2001, as Vice President of International for Nike-Cole Haan working out of Hong Kong, Lance restructured and set up new operations in Japan, China, Hong Kong, Singapore, Philippines, Malaysia, Korea, Italy, UK, Iberia, Greece and France.

Dr. Wes Feltner
Dr. Wes Feltner has spent the last 23 years in vocational ministry and has recently started his own company called Lead Well Ministries. Dr. Feltner has a Ph.D. in Leadership, a M.Div. in Theology, and a B.A. in Organizational Communication. For the past 23 years, Dr. Feltner has served in pastoral ministry in the areas of preaching, vision casting, adult discipleship, and international missions. In 2016-2017, Dr. Feltner pastored the 10th fasting growing church in America according to Outreach Magazine. He has taught at 3 different seminaries in the area of leadership and pastoral ministry. In addition to teaching, Dr. Feltner supervised doctoral dissertations.

In 2019, Dr. Feltner authored his first book entitled All Sides of the Savior: Exploring the Humanity of Jesus. This book focuses on understand the humanity of Jesus and how it impacts the way we live the human life. Dr. Feltner has spent many years training leaders and pastors in an international context, specifically in Asian contexts.
In addition to local church ministry, Dr. Feltner has expense conducting leadership training in the secular or cooperate world. He has partnered with Vision Companies to teach and train in the area of leadership development called The Leadership Journey. This program is designed to train employees in areas of Leading Change, Conflict Resolution, Culture Development, Personal Leadership, and other topics related to leadership transformation.
Dr. Feltner offers a unique blend of practical leadership and theology, in both Christian and cooperate contexts, and in both educational and practical settings.
Mike Burns
Mike is a leadership and strategy coach serving a wide range of customers from Fortune 500 senior executives to small business owners, startup CEO’s and individuals seeking to grow their positive impact in their organizations, families and communities. He is passionate about helping people live their values and become the most authentic versions of themselves to live to their maximum potential. Mike helps Christian leaders integrate their faith into their daily lives to increase purpose, fulfillment and impact. Mike’s most common engagements include 1-on-1 coaching, leadership team coaching, strategy facilitation, group coaching workshops and cultural transformation projects. He has logged thousands of coaching hours in transition coaching and helping people gain clarity for life direction and purpose. Mike is excited to join the Tend Your Garden Coaching Team to leverage the power of this framework to continue helping people gain clarity in these areas.
After starting his career with Cru, Mike transitioned into commercial and operational leadership roles with companies including Walmart Logistics, GE, nVent and Brady. In 2015, he launched his own global coaching company from Asia. Mike and his family spent 9 years living and working in China until returning to The US in 2020 due to Covid-19. He has been married for 25 years and has 3 children.
Rich Jasper
Rich Jasper is the owner and founder of Wealth Investment Partners, LLC. That organization provides consulting services to Financial Services Companies, and also, Rich is an Executive Coach with the Lance Tanaka Group, where he helps Leaders grow and flourish.
Rich enjoys working with clients from Europe, South America, and the US and spends a majority of his time educating Leaders on best practices and provides a sounding board for them to achieve more and execute on their strategies.
As a Christian businessman, Rich enjoys helping other Christian leaders love their neighbors, who in many cases are their employees and staff. He has spent many years teaching at Oxford University, through the Oxford Centre for Christian Apologetics and sharing insights about how to be an Authentic Leader.
Rich and his wife reside in Gig Harbor, WA, and are plugged into that community to honor and glorify God.
